Here's a simple walkthrough of exactly what happens before, during, and after your first in-home massage
with KEN Mobile Massage.
Before Your Appointment
Once you book your session, you'll receive a confirmation with your appointment time and therapist details. You can choose a male or female therapist based on your preference.
Before your therapist arrives, all you need to do is clear a space in your home — about 6 feet by 8 feet. A living room, bedroom, or even a garage works great. That's it. No cleaning required. No special setup.
When Your Therapist Arrives
Your therapist shows up with everything needed for a full spa-quality experience:
Professional massage table
Fresh, clean linens
Massage oils
Background music
Complimentary aromatherapy
Setup takes about 5 minutes. While they're setting up, you can change into comfortable clothes or a robe. You'll have complete privacy.
During the Massage
Your therapist will ask about any areas of tension, injuries, or preferences before starting. You're in control the entire time — if the pressure is too light or too deep, just say so.
You don't need to get fully undressed. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Most clients wear underwear or loose shorts. You'll be covered with a sheet at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed.
Sessions are available in three lengths:
60 minutes for a quick reset.
90 minutes (most popular) for a full-body massage with focused work on problem areas.
120 minutes (best value) for a deep and thorough session from head to toe.
After the Massage
When the session ends, your therapist will step out so you can get up at your own pace. No rushing. No driving. No traffic.
Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins
Take a warm shower to extend the relaxation
Avoid heavy exercise for the rest of the day
Enjoy the fact that you're already home
Your therapist will pack up and be out of your space in about 5 minutes.
Common Questions First-Timers Ask
"Is it awkward having someone come to my house?"
Not at all. Our therapists are licensed professionals who do this every day. Within two minutes of the session starting, any awkwardness disappears.
"What if I fall asleep?"
That's a compliment. It happens all the time and it means you're relaxed. We'll gently wake you when the session ends.
"Do I need to tip?"
Tips are appreciated but never expected. The session price covers everything.
"Is it safe?"
