A Thousand People in the Sierra Pelona
Green Valley is an unincorporated community in the Sierra Pelona Mountains at about 2,936 feet, with a population of 1,036 at the 2020 census.
It shares a zip code with Santa Clarita, which tells you how the mail works and nothing whatsoever about how the drive works.
Every route out is a canyon road. Bouquet Canyon Road runs south toward Santa Clarita, and San Francisquito Canyon Road drops down toward Saugus.

Trail Town and Canyon History
The Pacific Crest Trail runs the ridges above town. Its San Francisquito Canyon section covers roughly 27 miles between San Francisquito and Bouquet Canyon Roads.
Green Valley has been a rest and resupply stop for thru-hikers for decades. Down canyon are the ruins of the St. Francis Dam, which failed in March 1928.
The dam killed at least 431 people and is now a memorial site that draws visitors year round, with Bouquet Reservoir just over the ridge from it.

What massage is best after a weekend of brush clearance?
Deep tissue across the upper back, shoulders, and forearms, plus lower back and glute work if you were hauling. Chainsaw and pole saw work loads the forearms and rotator cuffs hard. Tell your therapist what you were doing during intake so they can target it rather than give you a generic session.
Can you come to a rental or a host home for a trail hiker?
